  • 1 packet Mission Original Super Soft Mini Wraps

     

  • Filling:

  • 1 cup pink lady apple, diced

  • 1 cup rhubarb, cut into 1cm pieces

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 ½ tbsp brown sugar

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

  • 2 tbsp demerara sugar

     

  • Butter mix:

  • ¼ tsp butter

  • 100g butter, melted

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 180°C. Line the baking sheet with baking paper and set aside.

  • Step 2

    Into a medium mixing bowl, add apples, rhubarb, vanilla extract, brown sugar and ¼ tsp cinnamon. Mix well and set aside for flavours to marinate.

  • Step 3

    In a small bowl, melt butter in the microwave and add ¼ tsp cinnamon. Stir to mix well.

  • Step 4

    Heat up Mission Original Super Soft Mini Wraps in the microwave, as per packet directions.

  • Step 5

    To assemble parcels, take one wrap and place it onto a flat board. Take 2-3 tbsp of apple/rhubarb filling and place it into the centre of the wrap, making a rectangular shape with the filling.

    Brush melted butter mix around the filling to the edge of the wrap. Fold the top and bottom edges of the wrap towards the centre and press down to hold in place.

    Working left to right, fold over the left edge of the wrap to the centre of the parcel and roll it over the right (onto itself) to seal the right edge of the parcel. Press down to secure the parcel and place it onto the baking sheet.

    Repeat the step until the remaining filling is used.

  • Step 6

    Make diagonal scores on each parcel before brushing with melted butter and sprinkling demerara sugar. Bake for 14 minutes until golden in colour.

  • Step 7

    Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.*
