  • 3 Mission Original Super Soft Wraps

     

  • Filling:

  • ½ cup sushi rice

  • 1 cup water, plus extra to roll sushi

  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar

  • 285g canned tuna (3 small cans)

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tsp sriracha

  • ½ avocado, thinly sliced

  • 2 tbsp nori rice seasoning

  • Step 1

    Rinse rice with cold water and place into a rice cooker. Add water and let cook for approximately 10-15 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Once the rice is cooked, spoon out rice into a bowl and mix through rice wine vinegar. Set aside to cool.

  • Step 3

    Combine tuna, mayonnaise and sriracha into a mixing bowl and mix well.

  • Step 4

    Place nori rice seasoning onto a plate, ready-to-roll sushi once assembled.

  • Step 5

    Warm up one Mission Original Super Soft Wrap at a time in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds - this will make it easier to roll.

  • Step 6

    To assemble sushi rolls, place the wrap onto a flat board and add ⅓ of the rice onto the bottom half of the wrap. Create a long rectangle shape allowing space around the edges to roll. Spoon over ⅓ the spicy tuna mix and spread out evenly on top of the rice. Top with sliced avocado covering the length of the filling.

  • Step 7

    To roll the sushi, brush water around the filling all the way to the edge of the wrap - this will allow the roll to hold its shape. Start from the bottom and fold the wrap over the filling, then fold in the sides and continue rolling to the top of the wrap until a log/roll is formed.

  • Step 8

    Position the roll to have smooth side up, brush water along the roll and place it onto the nori rice seasoning (moistened side down). Once topped with seasoning, place the roll onto a cutting board and make 6 even cuts. Place sushi onto a serving plate. Repeat steps 6-8.
