6 Mission Extra Soft Original Tortillas

1 cup vegetable oil
For the Cherry Mixture:
300g cream cheese, softened
2 tsp caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla paste
425g can pitted black cherries in syrup, drained

Icing sugar (for dusting)
Cinnamon (for dusting)

Step 1
In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.

Spread roughly 3-4 tablespoons of cream cheese mixture to the lower third of each Mission Extra Soft Original Tortilla. Place 4-5 cherries onto the cream cheese and roll up, tucking in the edges like a burrito. Place a small amount of cream cheese on the outer edge to seal.

Step 3
In a frying pan, heat the oil over medium to high heat. Once the oil is hot, place two rolls in at a time and continually turn until golden brown on all sides (about 3 minutes). Place all golden rolls onto a paper towel to absorb any excess oil.

Dust with icing sugar and cinnamon. Serve immediately.
