Ingredients

  • 4 Mission® Multigrain Tortillas  
  • 600g Beef Mince
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons Parsley, fresh finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 4 slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 teaspoons Dijon Mustard
  • Mixed Lettuce
  • 4 slices Tomato
  • Tomato Sauce (optional) 

Instructions

 

1. Mix the mince, egg, onion, garlic and parsley together and season with salt and pepper.
Divide the mixture into four and shape into rounds of about 10-11cm diameter to form beef burgers.

2. Grill, or if desired, fry the beef burgers for about 3-4 minutes over a medium heat, then turn them over.
Place one slice of cheese over each burger and cook for several more minutes until the cheese melts and the meat is cooked thoroughly.

3. Warm tortillas according to heating instructions, and fold them in half.  Spread with mustard and arrange the lettuce leaves on one half of the folded tortillas.

4. Place the burgers on the lettuce.
Add tomato sauce followed by the tomato and fold the other side over the ingredients. Serve immediately.
